Riker Mounted Sasakia Charonda Butterfly

The Sasakia charonda, commonly known as the Great Purple Emperor, is a striking butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. Native to East Asia, including Japan, China, and Korea, it is recognized as the national butterfly of Japan. Males display iridescent purple wings with white and black markings, while females are larger and have more subdued colors.
