Despite the rumors, goats do not actually eat tin cans or garbage. That myth probably started because goats are curious eaters and have been known to nibble labels off cans to get at the tasty glue inside. Honestly, can you blame them? Anyways, goats have always had a bit of a VIP status in history. Take ancient Egypt, for example. Pharaoh Cephranes was buried with more than 2,000 goats. That is a serious goat collection. Clearly, he really liked goats. Maybe he wanted them to keep him company in the afterlife or maybe he just really appreciated a good nibble buddy. Either way, goats have been charming humans for thousands of years and show no signs of slowing down.
